xxohxx, the only season I hate is looooooooong siberian winter that starts in the end of October and lasts till the middle of April or so. Spring is renewal and energy, summer is vacation (for teachers like me), autumn is philosophy and another, deep kind of renewal. I like them all. And even the warm snowy winter days are great. But 6 months of winter... oh dear.
ellyrrr, are you a teacher? what do you teach, and how long?
ellyrrr, I love spring. I love this specific scent and I like to catch these smells in the air. I like when everything around is waking up after a long sleep and everything is in blossom, getting greener and greener day by day.
xxohxx, That's what I like about spring - sweet new leaves and flowers and scents and all this romantic stuff. I often stop to observe and kind of meditate to nature's beauty, smell the first spring flowers, and I guess that makes people think I'm a bit mad. That's it. I'm crazy about spring. Autumn has nearly the same effect, but I could stare for longer...
A teacher of English and French, a tutor actually I've graduated only 5 years ago, but I have been teaching ever since I was 19. What's your occupation? (sorry I had no time to read your 100 facts yet, so maybe I'll find the answer there?)
xxohxx, Yes, I live close to LA, in North Hollywood/San Fernando area. Today it's sunny, but still cold. I have a heater on in my house )) I spent last summer in Great Falls, Montana, and it snowed and hailed there sometime in late August O_O That was quite shocking to me. It was actually colder than in Canada. I didn't realize why at first, but then I remembered... Montana is a high planes state, it's colder there because of the elevation.
The thing I miss here, in CA, is snow on Christmas and New Year's Eve. Without snow it's just not the same, like something is missing. They've built this new place in Glendale, called Americana. It has shops, restaurants, a movie theater, a fountain, and a small train going around and around... Looks a bit like the Third Street (if you remember) or Promenade in Santa Monica. Well, now they put a gigantic Christmas tree next to the fountain (the tree was damaged by the wind a couple of days ago, so now it's missing the top part), and during weekends they are blowing artificial snow from the top of one of the buildings ) It looks nice but it makes me even more nostalgic about the real snow ))
Aren't there any autumn lovers?)

Vous parlez français?
Maybe I'll find the answer there?
Yes, you may) therefore I made this entry.
I followed my mom's steps.
I am photographer, stylist, fashion designer, critic writer. I am in art.
And what 'bout you?
Ok, I'll have to read this entry. Perhaps it will finally motivate me to write the 100 facts about myself...
I'm a teacher by profession but I'd love to be trained as tea ceremony specialist - or how's this profession called?
